Hope You Can Cling To Challenge

There are a series of challenges over on Splitcoaststampers for Breast Cancer Awareness this month.  It is called Hope You Can Cling To (HYCCT).  It is to convey hope and lift the spirits of anyone who sees what is created.  My friend Pattyb is hostess for the challenge today.  We were to make a treat holder and had to use the colors black, pink, white and silver.  My mom had breast cancer and has leukemia now.  I love her much.  ANYway, this project is a magnetic tin and I just embellished it up.  I hope it lifts your spirits some.   Jesus is our eternal hope.  And can lift our spirits like no other.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

Some Trees, a Snowflake and a Flower

These are cards from one of my classes this past week.

This first card was inspired by a card on Pinterest.  Joyful Creations with Kim did this with masking.  I cut a panel and stamped it and then sponged.  There was no masking involved.  Then I attached the panel to my card front.  I LOVE it.  So easy and such a wonderful look.
 Recipe:
Stamp Sets:  Lovely As A Tree, Family Reunion
Card stock:  Naturals Ivory
Ink:  Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke, Pool Party, River Rock
Accessories:  Sponges, Early Espresso Marker
I inked the tree in Lucky Limeade, markered the trunk and then rocked a bit in the Always Artichoke.  Stamped the image and then stamped again and again.  Reinked and did the same.  Then I sponged the bottom in the Lucky Limeade and some in the middle.  Sponged River Rock in the middle into the top and the top with Pool Party.

A sparkly thank you that could also be a Christmas card!  This is shimmery and beautiful in real life.

Stamp Set:  Lacy & Lovely
Card Stock:  Shimmery White, Bashful blue, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, Silver Glimmer Paper
Ink:  Early Espresso

These colors are just absolutely lovely.  I don't know what I will do when Calypso Coral retires.  It is a favorite color of mine.

Autumn Accents Thank you

I needed some thank yous and this is what I pulled together.  French Foliage is my favorite leaf set.  Autumn Accents Bigz Die was used to cut the leaves.  Then I scored them in the middle and folded before running them through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder.  LOVE it.  See the 'thanks'?  That is cut out with a bitty, bitty punch!  Love that too.  We will be making this next week at my Club classes.   Hope you can come!

Recipe:
Stamp Sets: French Foliage, Lovely Little Labels
Card stock:  Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, More Mustard and Lucky Limeade
Ink:  Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede and Early Espresso
Accessories:  Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Little Labels Punch Pack, Naturals Designer Buttons, Linen Thread and Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder
