Jaclyn and Her Friends!

This past week I had the privilege of teaching Jaclyn and her friends downtown at the Park Trade Center.  They go there to do all different sorts of art projects.  What a fabulous couple of groups!  I forgot my camera and the teacher is supposed to be sending me pictures of them.  But here are the cards that they made.

This first card we embossed the Elegant Bouquet Folder through the Big Shot.  Boy did they all love that!!!  Then we used the pastels and a cotton ball to add color.  The sentiment is from All Holidays and inked with Basic Gray.

This card we used tone on tone. Real Red ink on Real Red Cardstock.  Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy Cardstock.  Stamped the star in Night of Navy on Whisper White and punched out with the Large Star Punch.  The sets used were July Fourth and the Red, White & Blue Jumbo Wheel.

This last card is my favorite!  We randomly stamped the swirl image with Close to Cocoa on Kraft. Then sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa.   The hummingbird is stamped with Ballet Blue.  We used Dazzling Diamonds and the 2-way Glue Pen wherever we wanted!!!  LOL  Everyone, even the men loved the Dazzling Diamonds.

What a pleasure it was to work with 2 different classes.  They were just a great group to work with and I will hopefully be able to do this again.

Awesome cards! I'm going to make that Mother's day card. I never thought to color the embossed image like that. Too awesome!

Hi Debra. I finally got to your blog. Very nice! Thanks again for coming up to the Cutting Edge Studio, I wish I could have been there. I definitely want to include your techniques into our program next year. We'll talk. Mark Hubbard
