Creative Blog Hop

Today I am sharing what I have been working on as part of a blog hop.  My wonderful, dear friend Emma asked me to participate.  I was asked to answer 4 questions as well as share what I am working on.

My son and his wife are expecting their first baby.  I am working on the invites for a shower.
The text was printed using the computer.  Stamp sets are Perpetual Birthday Calendar and Gorgeous Grunge.  Card stock is Whisper White and Island Indigo.  Ink is Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi.  I used the Itty Bitty Punch Pack star punch on the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for the punched star.

This card is more of what my style is.  A lot of embellishments.  I just love them. The stamp set used is Painted Petals.  This set is enjoyable to work with.  After stamping I used the rose cut out card from the Artisan Embellishment kit to sponge that image onto my piece.   Ink: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Crumb Cake.  Card stock:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe.  Embelishments:  Paper Doily, Embellishment Kit, Burlap Ribbon, Sahara Sand Lace Trim, White Jute Ribbon, Venetian Crochet Trim, Linen Thread, Spring Flowers Embossing Folder

This is a sample of a project to show what I enjoy stamping.

1. WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON NOW?
Right now I am working on Thank You cards for my daughter-in-law.

2. HOW DOES YOUR WORK DIFFER FROM OTHERS IN YOUR GENRE?
I love to embellish and sponge.  My style is shabby, vintage.  I am not sure I am very different, but I love to pile on.  I get going and don't know when to stop.  I love it.

3. WHY DO YOU CREATE WHAT YOU DO?
I just really enjoy stamping.  I love making cards or gifts like the name frames.
4. HOW DOES YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS WORK?
Usually I start with colors.  Sometimes an embellishment I want to use.  Grab a stamp set and just start.  There are times in the middle of a project I stop and leave it for a day and other times it falls together immediately.

I hope you have enjoyed this.  Sadly I wasn't able to find someone to follow after me.

Have a great day!
