Faux Tearing is a fun and quick technique to do. I used the Paisley Background stamp to make the "tearing" look and the Live Your Dream set from the Occasions mini. I used Bashful Blue, Mellow Moss and Whisper White cardstock. I used markers for the main floral image. I highlighted with the lighter markers: Bashful Blue and Mellow Moss and accented with darker markers: Brocade blue and Always Artichoke. But the fun part was creating the faux tearing!!! Tearing into April!
I have been having so much fun having a club! I had no idea how much I would enjoy planning and creating for this. Last month I used techniques that I had done before. This month I am using techniques I have never done. Today I am showing you Faux Tearing. I pretty much copied what Jami used to create this card because the Paisley background does really well with this technique. Club/Class is tomorrow, if you decide you want to attend and havent contacted me yet, let me know today!!!
