Wedding Frame

This past week I went to a wedding shower for a gal of a family at church.  This is what I came up with.

The colors used are Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Baja Breeze.  The letters for the last name are from Timeless Type Sizzlets using Early Espresso.  The name is mounted on a piece of  Very Vanilla.  The monogram is stamped with Lovely Letters.  Other stamp sets used are Elegant Inspirations (retired), Elements of Style and Baroque Motifs.  Punches used are Fancy Flower, 2-3/8 Scallop Circle, 1-3/4 Circle, and Scallop Trim Border.

New Catalog!

It is that time of year!!!  My NEW complimentary catalog has arrived and it is beautiful.  Yes, the brand new ©Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog!  Along with it came my preorder.

This first card is made with the Friends Never Fade set.
I punched the stamped floral image out with the 1-3/4 Circle Punch and then layered it with the NEW 1-3/4 Scallop Circle Punch.  Colors used are Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Baja Breeze.  I love the new 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

This next card is made with the new Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder.
The embossing folder is used on Crumb Cake Cardstock and then I brayered Crumb Cake and  Early Espresso inks over the raised image.  I also embossed some Early Espresso for the flower.  It is made with the Island Floral Bigz and Blossom Party Dies.  The center is made with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch and then a 1/2 pearl.  The sentiment is from the Perfect Punches set.  I love it!  It is punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch and layered on the Oval X-Large Punch.  The ribbon is 1/8" taffeta.

Love these new things!  However, remember the last chance list is out.  The new catalog isn't available to order from until July 1st.  Cardstock is going up in price.  If there is anything you need be sure to contact me.

Chipboard Bird Tag

I love this chipboard bird tag!  I made this for a gift basket that Emma and I put together for the Michigan Mingle back in March.  The paper is Bella Bleu.  Stamp sets are Vintage Vogue and Tiny Tags.  The stencil is from Elegant Trio.  The ribbons are Kraft Taffeta and the Not Quite Navy from Elementary from Ribbon Originals.  The flower is made using the Scallop Punch.  The eye is a button and half pearl.

I think I  need to make another one to hang in my window.  Don't you think?

Jaclyn and Her Friends!

This past week I had the privilege of teaching Jaclyn and her friends downtown at the Park Trade Center.  They go there to do all different sorts of art projects.  What a fabulous couple of groups!  I forgot my camera and the teacher is supposed to be sending me pictures of them.  But here are the cards that they made.

This first card we embossed the Elegant Bouquet Folder through the Big Shot.  Boy did they all love that!!!  Then we used the pastels and a cotton ball to add color.  The sentiment is from All Holidays and inked with Basic Gray.

This card we used tone on tone. Real Red ink on Real Red Cardstock.  Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy Cardstock.  Stamped the star in Night of Navy on Whisper White and punched out with the Large Star Punch.  The sets used were July Fourth and the Red, White & Blue Jumbo Wheel.

This last card is my favorite!  We randomly stamped the swirl image with Close to Cocoa on Kraft. Then sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa.   The hummingbird is stamped with Ballet Blue.  We used Dazzling Diamonds and the 2-way Glue Pen wherever we wanted!!!  LOL  Everyone, even the men loved the Dazzling Diamonds.

What a pleasure it was to work with 2 different classes.  They were just a great group to work with and I will hopefully be able to do this again.
