Veteran's Day

Thank you to our Veterans that have served and continue serve to protect our country and it's ideals.  As you all know, I am partial to one particular Marine.  My son, Sgt. David Daam.

Sgt. David Daam has been in the United States Marine Corps for nine years. He was deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom II and fought in Fallujah during Operation Phantom Fury. David worked training operations for the Georgian Army in Tblisi and the British Royal Marines at Quantico. He was also in Operation Iraqi Freedom 9.2 and for his service there he received Meritorious Mast for outstanding service and superior performance.

Thank you my sweet son David.  You have honor, courage, commitment and fit the title you have earned.   You have strength, power and might.   But you also have a tender side.  Here is proof.

I am thankful for all that encompasses you.  Because that is what makes you David.   I, we, are very proud of you and thankful for you.

One last thing.

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.
